Types of Large-Format Graphics

There are tons of different types of trade show graphics on the market, but most of them fit into one of these categories:

Direct Print Rigid Graphics

These graphics are printed on all types of rigid materials using large flatbed printers. Trade Show Counter graphics are often printed on either 1/8" or 1/4" Sintra, which is a lightweight PVC plastic material.

Dye-Sub Fabric Graphics

Printed fabric graphics allow you to have one large seamless graphic stretched across a large area. Dye-Sub printed fabric graphics can be finished in a variety of ways, all depending on the type of trade show display they will be used on. There are also numerous types of fabric, each intended for a specific use. Backlit fabric graphics used on Lightbox Displays have become increasingly popular in recent years.

Laminated Graphics

Laminated graphics produce the most crisp results as they are printed on photo paper and then thermally laminated to protect the graphic. These graphics are used on Pop-Up Displays and Panel Table Top Displays.

Vinyl Banner Graphics

Printing on vinyl has many benefits. It's typically more durable and opaque than printing on fabric, and can also be most cost efficient. When used on a Banner Stand to create a freestanding banner, it also does a better job of laying flat and eliminates edge curling. Outdoor vinyl does a good job of holding up against the elements.
